High School Sports Winter Coverage

It has been an extremely busy winter for JSP and our coverage of Colorado High School sports for the weekly Colorado Prep Spotlight tv show. The winter sports season seems like a blur! It feels like just yesterday that I was standing on the football field at Sports Authority Field for the last fall state championship - and now we are just weeks away from wrapping up the winter season!

Swimming and wrestling are in the books hi-lighted by the Fossil Ridge girls swimming team setting a national record in the 200 IM! Now our focus shifts over to the ice and the hard-wood as basketball and hockey take center stage under the playoff lights. Hockey steals the show this week at the Pepsi Center for the final four, followed by a state title game next Tuesday at the CAN. Hoops is really starting to come down to the wire as well for the big classes. 5A and 4A are approaching the elite 8 this weekend and it's anyone's title in 5A. And last update of the winter folks. We are now on episode 6 of the newly created CO Prep All Access Podcast! The podcast is a branch of the CO Prep Spotlight TV show that allows us to go more in depth with coaches and players from all across the state.
