President Carter & Mrs. Carter Interview for Adaptive Sports Center in Crested Butte
It was a very special week for the team at JSP. We got the amazing opportunity to travel to Atlanta, GA with the Adaptive Sports Center to conduct an interview with former US President Jimmy Cater, and his lovely wife Rosalynn Carter. The interview took place at the Carter Center which is just outside downtown Atlanta. President Carter and Mrs. Cater were some of the biggest original supporters and sponsors of the first ever Adaptive Sports Center in Crested Butte, Colorado 30 years ago. Now for the 30th anniversary, the ASC is fundraising for a brand new state-of-the art facility right at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort to support its ever growing list of participants.
The interview was a blast and it was an amazing experience to hear President Carter so fondly remember his time at Crested Butte. This interview will be part of a larger piece that will aid in the fundraising efforts for this great cause. Check out some of the behind-the-scenes photos from our time at the Carter Center. The Carter Center, in partnership with Emory University, is guided by a fundamental commitment to human rights and the alleviation of human suffering.
